Lt. Governor Drucilla Madrid, Zone 8 called today. She has been ill and out of town.
She asked if I would find someone to take this position of Lt. Governor Zone 8. If there is anyone in your clubs willing to take over for Drucilla, would you pease call or email me. It is very important to have this zone covered. We have a lot of very capable members to do this.    Have a very Merry Christmas  Helping Kids Reach Their Potential

Promise Yourself -
To be so strong that all of your clubs will get their reports in on time.
To keep well informed on Club, District and Optimist International affairs.
To make all your zone meetings a genuine exchange of ideas and experiences in club activities.
To wear a cheerful smile but carry a big stick to see that each club is adequately represented at all District affairs.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to a solid and spirited countdown to the finish.
To think only of the best of your Clubs and to expect only the best from your Clubs.
To give so much time to advise and counsel you Club Presidents, they have no time to be mediocre.
To talk Honor and Distinguished Club to every Optimist leader you meet.
To be too large fro resistance, too noble for criticism, too strong for defeat, and too enterprising to permit the presence of procrastination.
